Short answer: Cursor's individual plans are now Plus at $8, Premium at $30, Super at $100 and Ultra at $200 a month ($80, $300, $1,000 and $2,000 a year), before tax. They are sold as The X Subscription, one subscription that covers Grok, Cursor and X. Self-serve plans take credit and debit cards. Third-party models such as Claude, GPT and Gemini are not in the plan's usage pool; on Premium and above they are billed at API list price from prepaid credit, which is a separate charge to your card. If you are on a legacy plan (Pro, Pro+, Ultra), it keeps renewing as before. On a prepaid card, most declines are a short balance or a top-up that has not landed yet.

What the new Cursor plans cost
- Free: $0, limited Agent and Chat requests.
- Plus: $8 a month or $80 a year. Cursor's own models only (Grok and Composer); no third-party models, Cloud Agents or Bugbot.
- Premium: $30 a month or $300 a year. 4x Plus usage, Cloud Agents and Automations, Bugbot code review, third-party models at API list price. Cursor recommends it for new AI users.
- Super: $100 a month or $1,000 a year. 15x Plus usage and priority model access at peak times.
- Ultra: $200 a month or $2,000 a year. 50x Plus usage and earliest access to new products and models.
- Teams: $30, $100 or $200 per seat a month, matching Premium, Super and Ultra; Enterprise is custom.
- "Prices shown do not include applicable taxes or fees (e.g. VAT)." Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.
What changed, and why there can be several charges
- One usage pool, refreshed weekly, shared across the Cursor editor, CLI, Cloud Agents and the Grok apps.
- Third-party models are pay-as-you-go: from the first request on Premium and above, at API list price, paid from prepaid credit.
- Prepaid credit is bought separately under Additional usage credits at grok.com/dashboard/billing, or refilled automatically with Auto Top-up when the balance drops below your threshold.
- Legacy plans continue: the docs say Hobby, Start, Pro, Pro+, Ultra and Teams Standard / Premium seats "continue for existing customers".
- So one card can see a subscription charge, manual credit purchases and automatic top-ups. Each one needs enough balance, and each declined one costs $1 on a Pink Card.
Real Cursor charges on our cards
- Since April 2026: 10 successful Cursor charges, including $20, $21.21, $21.78, $60, $192, $254.02 and $579.84, from monthly to annual-sized amounts. We cannot see which plan each one was.
- All 7 declined charges under the descriptor CURSOR SAN FRANCISCO were "Blocked": every one was a renewal attempt on a card that had already been closed. Switch the card in Cursor before you close one.
- On 2026-10-22 (UTC) one customer bought a $50 card at 05:48, then topped it up six times between 05:56 and 06:06 for $580 in total.
- At 06:09:26 and 06:09:30 a Cursor charge of $579.84 was declined twice with "The value is greater than the maximum single transaction value": the top-ups were paid but not on the card yet.
- The top-ups landed at 06:09:49. The same $579.84 went through at 06:10:01, 12 seconds later. Both declines still cost $1 each.
Declined right after a top-up? Wait for it to land
A top-up is not on the card the second you pay. It usually lands within about 30 minutes, and lately most land within a few minutes. Until the card page shows it as on the card, the issuer still sees the old balance and declines the charge. Wait, then retry once.

How much to keep on the card
- Each charge: the taxed price + $1 per-transaction fee; plus the $2.50 monthly card fee on the 1st.
- Plus at 10% tax: $8.80 + $1 = $9.80 a month.
- Premium at 10% tax: $33 + $1 + $2.50 = $36.50 a month, plus whatever prepaid credit you plan to buy.
- Super: $110 + $1 + $2.50 = $113.50 a month. Ultra: $220 + $1 + $2.50 = $223.50 a month.
- Annual plans charge the whole year at once (Premium $300 + tax), so load the full taxed amount + $1 first.
- If you turn on Auto Top-up, keep the refill amount on the card as well, or set a monthly additional usage limit.
Top up the same card with USDT or USDC
- Open pinkcard.cc/en, click "Balance & Top Up" at the top, and enter the 16-digit card number and the 3-digit lookup code.
- Choose an amount (minimum $30) and pick USDT or USDC.
- Send exactly the amount shown on exactly the network you picked: USDT on BEP-20 (BSC) or ERC-20, USDC on ERC-20 only.
- The top-up usually reaches the card within about 30 minutes. The card number does not change, so Cursor keeps billing the same card.
- Top-up cost: $5 plus 5% of (top-up amount + $5). $50 for a month of Premium is $57.75; $230 for a month of Ultra is $246.75.

Pink Card fees (as of 2026-10-22)
- Card issuance: $10 one-time, plus a 3% service fee on (card amount + $10). Presets start at $110; custom amounts from $100. A $110 card costs $123.60.
- From the card balance after activation: $1 per transaction and $2.50 per month. Failed authorizations are charged $1 too (at most 3 failed charges per card per month).
- Top-up of the same card: $5 plus 5% of (top-up amount + $5), minimum $30. Full fee table: pinkcard.cc/en/fees.
- Pay for a new card or a top-up with USDT (BEP-20 or ERC-20) or USDC (ERC-20). The card details (number, expiry, CVV and billing address) are emailed about 1–2 minutes after payment.
Most charges go through, but some are still declined. If one is, check the reason in the transaction history before trying again, and cancel or switch the card in Cursor before you stop using it.
