Short answer: Poe is Quora’s multi-model chat app, so a Poe web subscription is billed by Quora through Stripe and shows up on your card as QUORA.COM (on our cards: QUORA.COM MOUNTAIN VIEW). If the payment is declined, it is almost always one of four things: the card does not allow international online USD payments, the balance does not cover the price plus tax, the billing address does not match the card, or the same card was submitted several times in a row. Fix those in that order and submit once.
Written by the Pink Card team (pinkcard.cc). Poe’s plans page (poe.com/subscription_plans, opened 2026-10-21) lists the five paid tiers by points, says subscriptions are automatic payments plus tax, and says you manage or cancel through Stripe’s customer portal from Settings. It showed prices in our local currency, so the USD prices below come from public price listings; they match the $19.99 charge on our card. Plan names and points change, so the checkout page is what counts. Charge data comes from our own cards from 2026-07-23 to 2026-10-21 (the last 90 days); fees are the live settings on 2026-10-21. How much Poe costs
- Free: a small daily allowance of points, enough to try the models.
- Paid plans, monthly: $4.99 (10 thousand points a day), $19.99 (660 thousand points a month), $49.99 (1.65 million), $99.99 (3.3 million) and $249.99 (8.25 million). $19.99 is the one we saw on our cards.
- Annual billing saves about 17%; the $19.99 tier is about $199.99 a year.
- Prices are shown before tax and in your local currency in some regions. Tax is added at checkout based on your billing address.
- Points: every message costs points, and the cost depends on the model. Newer, larger models cost more per message, so check how many points your usual model uses before choosing a tier.
Web subscription vs App Store / Google Play
- Subscribed on poe.com in a browser: billed by card through Stripe under Quora’s name (QUORA.COM). Change the card or cancel in Poe’s Settings, which opens Stripe’s customer portal.
- Subscribed in the iPhone or Android app: billed by Apple or Google with the payment method in your Apple ID or Google Play account. Change the card or cancel in the App Store or Google Play; Poe’s web settings cannot manage it.
- Do not subscribe in both places, or you will be billed twice. Prices can also differ between web and app.
Why Poe declines a card, and the fix order
- The card does not allow international or online USD payments. Many local debit cards and cards without overseas payments enabled are declined at checkout. Use a card that supports recurring online payments in USD.
- The balance is short. The plan price is before tax, and an annual plan charges the whole year at once. Keep at least the taxed total plus any card fees on the card.
- The billing address does not match. Enter the billing address your card issuer gave you, with the right country and ZIP / postal code.
- Repeated attempts. After several declines in a short time, the payment processor or the issuer may block the card for a while, and further attempts make it worse. Stop, fix the cause, wait, and submit once.
- The page or card form does not load. That is a browser or network issue, not the card. Try another browser or turn off ad blockers.
Cancelling and failed renewals
Web subscription: sign in on poe.com, open Settings, open the subscription management link (Stripe’s customer portal) and cancel. The plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and is not charged again. Poe does not describe prorated refunds, so cancel before the renewal date if you do not want the next period. If a renewal is declined because the balance is short, add funds and pay again from Settings; the subscription may be paused after repeated failed renewals.
Real Poe charges on our cards
We checked Poe charges (merchant QUORA.COM MOUNTAIN VIEW) on our own cards. One card paid $19.99 on 2026-09-26 (UTC), successful: one month of the $19.99 tier, charged in USD with no tax. There were no declines. The sample is one card and one charge, so we cannot promise every card and every charge will pass.
How much to keep on a Pink Card for Poe
- $19.99 tier, monthly: $19.99 + $1 per-transaction fee + $2.50 monthly fee = $23.49 a month (before tax). A $110 card covers four months.
- $4.99 tier, monthly: $4.99 + $1 + $2.50 = $8.49 a month.
- $19.99 tier, annual: $199.99 + $1 = $200.99. A $110 card is not enough; a custom $210 card costs (210 + 10) × 1.03 = $226.60 and leaves about $9 for monthly fees.
- If your checkout adds tax, use the taxed total instead.
Top up the same card with USDT or USDC
- Open pinkcard.cc/en, click "Balance & Top Up" at the top, and enter the 16-digit card number and the 3-digit lookup code.
- Choose an amount (minimum $30) and pick USDT or USDC.
- Send exactly the amount shown on exactly the network you picked: USDT on BEP-20 (BSC) or ERC-20, USDC on ERC-20 only.
- The top-up usually reaches the card within about 30 minutes. The card number does not change, so Poe keeps billing the same card and you do not need to add it again.
- Top-up cost: $5 plus 5% of (top-up amount + $5). $30 is $36.75 in total; $100 is $110.25.

Pink Card fees (as of 2026-10-21)
- Card issuance: $10 one-time, plus a 3% service fee on (card amount + $10). Presets start at $110; custom amounts from $100. A $110 card is $123.60 in total.
- From the card balance after activation: $1 per transaction and $2.50 per month.
- Failed authorizations are charged $1 too (at most 3 failed charges per card per month).
- Top-up of the same card: $5 plus 5% of (top-up amount + $5), minimum top-up $30, usually on the card within about 30 minutes; the card number does not change. Full fee table: pinkcard.cc/en/fees.
- Pay for a new card or a top-up with USDT (BEP-20 or ERC-20) or USDC (ERC-20). The card details (number, expiry, CVV and billing address) are emailed about 1–2 minutes after payment.
Most charges go through, but some are still declined. If one is, check the reason before trying again, and cancel Poe in Settings before you stop using the card.
