ElevenLabs payment failed, short answer: ElevenLabs takes credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay (UPI only in India), charges in USD, and its prices exclude tax. Its help center also says prepaid cards are not directly supported and that some are blocked by the issuer or by Stripe, so a prepaid card is used at your own risk. An ElevenLabs payment usually fails because the bank refuses foreign USD charges, the billing address does not match, the card holds the discounted first-month price but not the full renewal, or the same card was retried too many times. Fix the balance and address, then pay once from the Subscription page. If your local card does not work, a prepaid virtual card bought with USDT or USDC, such as Pink Card from pinkcard.cc, can be added to your own ElevenLabs account.
Written by the Pink Card team (pinkcard.cc). ElevenLabs prices and billing rules are taken from elevenlabs.io/pricing and the ElevenLabs help center as of October 2026 and may change; the checkout shows the exact amount. Pink Card fees are those shown on the purchase page on 2026-10-15. Pink Card is not affiliated with ElevenLabs.
How ElevenLabs charges
- Free: $0, 10,000 credits a month, no rollover.
- Starter: $6 a month (about $5 a month billed yearly), 30,000 credits.
- Creator: $22 a month (about $18.33 a month billed yearly), 121,000 credits. New users often get a first-month discount, for example $11 for the first month, then $22 from the second month.
- Pro: $99 a month ($82.50 a month billed yearly), 600,000 credits. Scale and Business plans cost more and include workspace seats.
- Prices exclude tax; tax for your billing country may be added at checkout.
- Paid plans reset credits every month; unused credits roll over for up to two months. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the billing period.
Why ElevenLabs declines a card
- The issuing bank refuses the charge. Many banks block foreign online or recurring USD payments to AI services by default, and the checkout only shows "card declined" or "payment failed".
- Prepaid card screening. ElevenLabs states that prepaid cards are not directly supported; some are refused by the issuer or by Stripe whatever the balance.
- Billing address mismatch. The country, address and postal code are checked against the issuer; a wrong postal code is a common silent decline.
- The renewal costs more than the first month. A card loaded for the $11 discounted Creator month cannot pay the $22 renewal, plus any tax.
- Too many attempts. Retrying the same card again and again, or switching between several cards in a few minutes, triggers risk checks. Waiting is usually the only fix.
Fix it in this order
- Stop clicking Subscribe or Retry. Read the failure email to see which charge failed: a renewal, the first full-price month, or an upgrade.
- Make sure the card balance covers that amount including tax, plus about $1 if your prepaid card charges per transaction. Yearly plans need the whole year upfront.
- Check the card number, expiry, CVV and the billing address exactly as the issuer has it.
- Pay again or change the card from the Subscription / billing page. Submit once.
- If the same card fails two or three times, stop for several hours before trying again, or use a different card.
Refunds and cancellation
ElevenLabs says a refund is possible only if you ask within 14 days of payment and have not used any credits from that period. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period; the account then returns to Free and unused credits are lost, so use them before you cancel.
Does a prepaid virtual card work for ElevenLabs?
We checked ElevenLabs charges (merchant ELEVENLABS.IO NEW YORK) on our own cards. One Pink Card paid $11.00 on 2026-05-16, which matches the discounted first Creator month, and the $22.00 full-price renewal went through on 2026-06-16. We saw no declined ElevenLabs charges. The sample is one card, and ElevenLabs itself says prepaid cards are not directly supported, so we cannot promise every card and every charge will pass; start with a monthly plan and keep the balance above the next renewal.
Pay ElevenLabs with a prepaid virtual card (USDT or USDC)
- Open pinkcard.cc/en and choose an amount: presets start at $110 ($110, $220, $500, $1000), or enter a custom amount from $100.
- Pay with USDT on BEP-20 (shown as BSC or BNB Smart Chain on most exchanges; network fee usually under $1) or ERC-20, or with USDC on ERC-20. Send exactly the amount shown, on exactly the network you picked.
- Enter your email twice. No account and no sign-up are needed.
- The card number, expiry, CVV and billing address arrive by email about 1–2 minutes after the payment confirms (check spam).
- In ElevenLabs, open the Subscription page, pick the plan and billing period, enter the card with the billing address from the email, check the total including tax and submit once.
- Before each renewal, top up the same card. The number does not change, so ElevenLabs keeps charging it. Top-ups usually reach the card within about 30 minutes of payment.
How much to load (worked examples)
- Creator, monthly, full price: $22 + $1 per transaction + $2.50 monthly card fee = $25.50 per month before tax, so the $110 preset covers about 4 months.
- Creator, first month discounted: $11 + $1 = $12, but the second month is $23 with the transaction fee, so keep at least that much on the card.
- Starter, monthly: $6 + $1 + $2.50 = $9.50 per month, about 11 months on the $110 preset.
- Pro, monthly: $99 + $1 + $2.50 = $102.50, so the $110 preset covers one month.
- Paying for a $110 card: ($110 + $10) × 1.03 = $123.60. A $220 card: ($220 + $10) × 1.03 = $236.90.
- Topping up $100 later: $5 + ($100 + $5) × 5% = $10.25 in fees, $110.25 in total.
Pink Card fees (as of 2026-10-15)
- Card issuance: $10 one-time, plus a 3% service fee on (card amount + $10).
- From the card balance after activation: $1 per transaction and $2.50 per month.
- Failed authorizations are charged $1 too (at most 3 failed charges per card per month), so keep the balance above the next renewal.
- Top-up of the same card: $5 plus 5% of (top-up amount + $5), usually on the card within about 30 minutes. Full fee table: pinkcard.cc/en/fees.
- Once the card details are emailed, the order cannot be cancelled, so double-check your email address before paying.
